The Rise and Fall of Glamorfell
Commander of the Free Irregulars
A singularly unattractive man in his early 30’s, the remains of his dark hair balding, but with a powerful build. He walks confidently and with practiced discipline. It is clear this man has led men, in some capacity, in the past. His gear is immaculately maintained and makes nary a squeak as he walks
A distant relative of House Garess in Brevoy, Kesten created a scandal when an affair between Kesten and a lowborn woman named Tania, a weaver’s daughter, became public. His father Evan, a cousin of the Garess family patriarch, disowned Kesten, who then fled to Restov to serve as a mercenary. He volunteered to lead a small group of soldiers to guard Oleg’s Trading Post after his own depression and shame became too much to handle.
Kesten has proven a capable leader and custodian of Oleg’s Trading Post. Kesten hopes to either make a name for himself as the defender of the remote fort, or to find and honorable death among the bandits and other dangers in the region. Kesten is at best brave and at worst judgmental.
After the PCs allowed his most hated enemy, Falgrim Sneed, to evade capture, Kesten abandoned his post and determined to go look for Falgrim himself. Of last report, he had been employed as a council member for Baron Drelev.
